West Newcastle Academy is a school like no other. They have a very specialised approach to building learning environments that mean everything to their children. They pride themselves in keeping their classes  fully engaged in their learning with inspiration from Danish world-class pre-schools.

As with all well-functioning IT departments, the Academy are constantly considering their Cyber Security stature, along with their compliance with government and in-house data policies. They approached Barracuda to talk about their Cloud Archiving solution and NovaBytes were then recommended to West Newcastle Academy by Barracuda. Barracuda are one of the worlds largest and most successful providers of Cyber Security solutions for multiple uses including Email Security, Network Security and Cloud-to-Cloud backup. NovaBytes have already implemented a number of other Barracuda solutions for businesses across the UK and Barracuda knew NovaBytes would be more than capable of handling this high-priority client.

After a brief discussion with the Head of IT at the Academy, it was clear they had a requirement for an Email Archiving solution that would work in-line with the their own data retention policy and with Exchange Online/MS365. They needed this to be implemented swiftly and securely and without any downtime for the staff.

After having completed many other Barracuda installations, NovaBytes were able to implement Barracuda Cloud Archiving into the Academy in a single day and without any downtime whatsoever. Retention policies were created in-line with the Academy’s own policies along with Exchange Integration, SMPT Journalling and also virus checking for archived emails.
