Glasgow Property Letting has a combined expertise of over 50 years in residential sales and lettings. They are widely acknowledged as property experts by both customers and industry peers.

Glasgow property letting came to NovaBytes through word-of-mouth recommendation after hearing about other successful VoIP and Cyber Security projects we had carried out in Glasgow and the rest of Scotland.

GPL had a multi-tiered requirement that included the need for a number of services from NovaBytes but their business communications were a clear front-runner and the main element of their requirement.

Challenges

  • GPL had almost no control over the management of their current phone system.

NovaBytes met with the GPL management team in order to quickly and accurately establish the challenges the company were facing with their current phone system. It was clear that the team at GPL did not have access to a Unified Comms solution with the kind of functionality they needed and that they were paying far too much for what they were being given. They were also bound to using desk phones and did not have an application that they could use on PC’s, laptops or their mobile phones. They were also suffering from bad call quality and phone calls dropping out on a nearly regular basis.

In our modern working world, it’s important to be able to make and receive company calls from any device so you can keep in touch with your customers wherever you are. It’s even more important for these calls to be of a high quality to ensure your customers can hear everything you are saying clearly and vice versa.

After an in-depth discussion about what the requirements were in a a new Unified Communications solution, NovaBytes put a scope together that matched this. The scope was confidently signed off by the GPL management team and NovaBytes got to work building the new solution.

The complete build took under a week, including IVR messaging from a professional voice actor that NovaBytes regularly uses.

NovaBytes then provided the GPL team with full training on the new solution starting with the basics such as making calls and accessing voicemails/call recordings, moving through to back-end management like adding and removing team members from the system.

Results

  • GPL now have a Unified Comms solution with unlimited calling, sms and fax.
  • Call quality is now incredibly high with no dropouts.
  • Each staff member can use the solution on 3 devices at any time (desk phone, laptop and PC, for example).
  • Their monthly bill is now significantly lower than with their previous telecoms provider. 

  • The solution is feature rich with multi-level auto attendants, ring groups, call recordings and analytics.

 

GPL have expressed on many occasions how much of a positive impact their new phone system has had on their daily work in the business. Points of note have been the very high call quality across all devices and the ease-of-use when using the mobile ad desktop application.
